Transformers – Dark of the Moon

Directed by Michael Bay and Starring Shia LeBeouf Rosie Huntingdon-Whitely & Tyrese Gibson, It starts In 1961 when a Cybertronian spacecraft crash lands on the far side of the moon.  Known as the Ark it was the last ship to escape a Cybertron devastated by war and was Piloted by Sentinel Prime, it carried “the Pillars”, technology that could save the Cybertronians once and for all.

Meanwhile back On Earth, the crash of the Ark is detected by NASA, so President John F. Kennedy authorizes the mission to put a man on the moon as a cover and In 1969, Apollo 11 lands on the surface of the Moon to investigate the Ark and the crew find something surprising which could alter the fate of Earth itself…

As if that wasn’t enough, From Saturday 2nd July, the Mirror newspaper is offering readers the chance to collect figures from the Movie. Originally i reckon They were going to call it Dark Side of the Moon, but someone at Pink Floyd’s management justifiably complained, good job too – that’s an absolutely awesome classic album and I much prefer it to the last Transformers movie anyway.

Still I am digressing a bit,  Micheal Bay is directing this one, so it is likely to be very exciting with plenty of explosions and things blowing up, (which will probably keep pyromaniacs entertained) .  The figures/collectables/toys (Depending on your point of view) available to collect with the Mirror Newspaper from Saturday are:
*Optimus Prime
*Bumblebee
*Starscream
*IronHide
*Soundwave

There is also storage box, A1 sized poster, set of Stickers & a comic to collect too.
