The winner of this years Celebrity big Brother was announced recently. The results are:
- 1st Paddy Doherty
- 2nd Kerry Katona
- 3rd John and Edward Grimes (Jedward)
- 4th Amy Childs
Now CBB has finished, I bet Amy Childs will be in a number of Lads Mags, wearing next to nothing *Rolls Eyes*, and as if this wasn’t bad enough the new series of the regular Big Brother also starts on Friday 9th September, with Pamela Anderson greeting another bunch of fame-hungry desperate wanabe housemates as they go in. I wonder how many of these housemates will end up posing for Lads Mags, going out with footballers or launching Pop Careers once they leave the Big Brother House?
You would have thought after what happened to the unfortunate Jade Goody on Celebrity Big Brother a few years ago, that contestants would want to stay away from the program in droves, but no, Although I did read somewhere that experts are expecting a large dip in viewing figures after the first night, so most viewers will be staying away, and doing something much more exciting instead.
Some BB contestants don’t seem to realise that the cameras will only show the bits that make for “entertaining” Television, and not the whole story, so events end up being taken out of context and the truth gets distorted, then the press get hold of the story and distort things even further, depending on the writers perspective. Also some people only seem to be on BB to launch a Pop Star or”Glamour Model” career and the photos end up in Lads Mags or on the Internet (Mind you some people are probably looking forward to that, 😉 .
The Action picks up two months after the events of Miracle Day and sees Gwen (Eve Myles) resorting to desperate measures in order to keep her Father’s ever deteriorating condition more bearable
Meanwhile Agent Rex (Mekhi Phifer) thinks he may have found something which connects a family involved in organised crime to the so-called “Miracle”. But his investigation is somewhat hampered by a member of staff at the CIA who is behaving suspiciously and could be involved somehow.
Then Gwen has an unfortunate encounter with convicted murderer Oswald Danes (Bill Pullman) who it turns out may have some important information regarding unscrupulous reporter Gilly Kisssinger (Lauren Ambrose) and “The Miracle” which leads the team to different parts of the world.
