The Dark Knight Rises

A trailer of CHristopher Nolan’s final Batman Movie “The Dark Knight Rises” has just been released onto the internet. Once again Christian Bale reprises his role as Bruce Wayne, while Gary Oldman returns as Commissioner Gordon and Michael Caine returns as Alfred.

Anne Hathaway stars as Selina Kyle, also know as the villainous Catwoman, and makes her first appearance at a masquerade ball where she warns Bruce. ‘A storm is coming, Mr. Wayne, And you and your friends better batten down the hatches.’

Meanwhile A masked Tom Hardy makes a terrifying arrival on the scene as the evil Bane. A big, nasty and frightening brute of a villain, whose style is heavy-handed, heavy-footed, nasty and includes anything from small joint manipulation to crushing skulls, crushing rib cages, stamping on shins and knees and necks and collarbones and snapping heads off and tearing his fists through chests, ripping out spinal columns. It’s anything he can get away with.’

Bane is also a terrorist in his mentality too, and can also be unpredictable at times, being calm one minute and moving incredibly fast the next, he’s A really horrible piece of work. His style is not so much about fighting. It’s more about causing as much carnage as possible, He’s a smashing machine and a wrecking ball. Bane also has an incredible brain too, and this side of him hasn’t been explored in the Batman Movies before.’

In comic books, the character of Bane was a child born and raised within the walls of a harsh prison in a fictional Caribbean country named Santa Prisca who was transformed into a fearsome, hulking man-machine via a physique-enhancing intravenous drug called Venom (no not the Spider Man Character).

The Dark Knight Rises will be released in the US and UK in July.
