85th Academy Award Nominations 2013

Skyfall missed out on becoming the first ever Bond film to be nominated for a Best Picture Oscar, The film, which stars Daniel Craig as James Bond as is shot in London and Shanghai, has also been nominated for a Golden Globe and seven Critics Choice awards.This year The Academy awards will be paying tribute to the Bond franchise, which celebrated its 50th birthday in 2012.Seth MacFarlane, who will be hosting the Academy Award ceremony, was joined actress Emma Stone when he announced the nominations. Dame Judi Dench, who stars as M, receives a best supporting actress nomination, and The film also receives a nominations for Best Cinematography & Sound Editing . The theme song for the film, sung by Adele is also nominated for Best Original Song prize.
