Seasick Steve – Hubcap Music

Eight years after his debut album Cheap, Seasick Steve has released his sixth album entitled Hubcap Music, and being a big fan I would like to get it. The album gets its name from the fact that heplays a guitar made from a garden hoe and two Morris Minor hubcaps. THE new album featuress contributions from Led Zeppelins John Paul Jones on Hammond organ and Jack White from the White Stripes. The album is made up of tracks ranging from fuzzy rocking blues, country ballads, traditional twelve bar blues, modern electric blues, redneck boogie and even rap inspired talking blues. Songs on the album are

Down on the farm

Self sufficient Man

Keep on keepin’ on

Over you

The way I do

Purple Shadows

Freedom Road

Heavy Weight

Coast is Clear
