The sixth Cholmondeley Pageant of Power takes place from 14 to the 16th June with a host of high-octane, high decibel attractions to thrill diehard petrolheads as well as families looking for an unbeatable fun packed day out, from the loudest Formula One car to the roar of the Aero Engines. The weekend will assault the senses with a cacophony of sound generated by specialist engines that for decades have been a driving foce over land, sea and air.2013 will see the fastest car and bike motorsport action yet. The Supercar paddock promises to be the most extensive ever. There will be more manufacturer stands, death defying air displays, terrifying stunts on water, new artisan food stalls and  opportunities to shop at the lifestyle pavilion and trade area the track competition will be fierce with over 80 cars and 40 bikes campaigning to achieve their best laps. The event is celebrating Aston Martin’s centenary and Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary.  There will be a new rallying village and the Supercar paddock promises to be the most extensive and noisiest ever. Isle of Wight Festival 2013

This year’s Isle of Wight Festival takes place between Thursday 13 June and Sunday 16th June 2013. This year there is a great line-up performing at various locations at various times around the site, including Friday headliners The Stone Roses, Saturday headlines The Killers and Sunday headliners Bon Jovi, who will all be on the main stage. Others performing this year include Paul Weller, Emili Sande, Jake Bugg, Everything Everything, Palma Violets, Rizzle Kicks, Ellie Goulding, The Levellers, The Happy Mondays, The Farm Lez Zeppelin and the Blockheads all of whom are performing on Friday

Performers on Saturday include The Killers, Bloc Party, The Maccabees, Ben Howard, Bastille, Bonnie Raitt, Laura Mvula, Ian Hunter and the Rant Band, Willy Mason, Tank Trap, Sub Focus, Devlin, Little Mix, Lawson and Willy Moon. Performers during Sunday include headliners Bon Jovi plus The Script, Paloma Faith, Boomtown Rats, Newton Faulkner, Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, Little Angels, The Bear Social, Blondie, I am Kloot, Imperial Teen, Young Guns, Kids in Glass Houses, Imagine Dragons and Republica.

In addition to the performances on the main stage there will also be many people performing in the BT Infinity Big Top, the Dance Tent, The cabaret Club, The Bohemian Woods, The Hipshaker, The Bandstand, The Zebra Bar and Chaagne Garden and The Kashmir Cafe. I just hope the weather holds out
