Severn Valley Railway Classic Car & Bike Day

Back by popular demand this years Severn Valley Railway Classic Car & Bike Day takes place on Sunday 13October at Kidderminster, Highley Bewdley & Bridgnorth Sations and features approximately 200 vehicles on display. There are also cars on display at Arley & Highley Stations aswell as an impressive line-up of classic & vintage motorcycles on display at Hampton Loade Station.Cars in the show include the E Type Jaguar, Jensen Interceptor, 1960 Messerschmidt 200, Morris Minor 1000, Austin A40,  Ford Zephyr, Vauxhall Viva, Austin 7, Hillman Minx, 1922 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, 1925 Bentley, 1934 Lagonda 16/80 & 1953 Armstrong Siddeley.This years Classic Vehicle Day promises another great line-up of vehicles from yesteryear and is a great opportunity to enjoy the autumn colours (or get absolutely drenched) along the line as you get on and off at each of the stations to view the displays of iconic vehicles (and have a few pints..lol). At Kidderminster Station there are cars representing many British Car Marques who are celebrating an anniversary this year including one hundred years of Morris Cars, 100 years of the Standard Marque and 90 years of the Triumph Marque. There are also many marques representing Longbridge at the Engine House in Highley featuring Austin Mini, Allegro, Maxi, 1100 and Metro to name but a few (which in this weather will probably all rust away 😀
