Game of thrones (Season Four)
Have recently watched the exciting Season Four of Game of Thrones. It begins with the wedding of Joffrey Baratheon and Margaery Tyrell in King’s Landing, Which proves memorable for all the wrong reasons and Tyrion is subsequently sentenced to death. Tywin begins grooming Tommen to rule as King and enlists Oberyn and Mace, Loras’s father, as his fellow judges for the impending trial of Tyrion, who decides to pick Jaime as his witness. Luckily Sansa Stark successfully escapes King’s Landing with the help of Ser Hollard and Petyr Baelish And she meets Lysa Arryn in the Vale, Who unsuccessfully attempts to kill her.
Meanwhile, Arya Stark and Sandor Clegane make for the Eyrie but are denied entry; and encounter Brienne of Tarth and Podrick Payne. Ser Davos Seaworth requests a loan from the Iron Bank of Braavos to pay for a group of mercenaries called the “Golden Company” to join Stannis’s army. Arya escapes on a Braavosi ship. Meanwhile in the North Bran Stark, the Reeds and Hodor, continues Searching for the three-eyed raven. However they are delayed by mutineers at Craster’s Keep and a wight attack that kills Jojen, Tyrion also leaves King’s Landing.
In the North, Styr and his group of cannibal Thenns join Giantsbane, Ygritte, and the other wildlings. Jon is released by Maester Aemon after confessing what he did during his time with the wildlings to gain information he then tries to warn his leaders about Mance Rayder’s impending attack and the mutineers at Craster’s Keep, led by Karl Tanner. The Wildlings launch an attack on Castle Black. So Jon goes beyond the Wall to assassinate Rayder, however Stannis Baratheon arrives with his forces, who overwhelm the Wildlings and rescue the Night’s Watch.
Davos Seaworth and Stannis shift their support from the Lannisters to the Baratheons. In the North, Roose Bolton orders his hunter, Locke, to kill Jon Snow and track down Bran and Rickon Stark, and also sends Ramsay Snow to take Moat Cailin. Roose rewards Ramsay by legitimizing him as a Bolton, and giving him the former Stark stronghold of Winterfell. Across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen successfully captures Meereen amidst a slave revolt, and decides to remain there until she has learnt how to rule. However she discovers that her trusted advisor, Jorah Mormont, has betrayed her and that her dragon Drogon is becoming increasingly dangerous.
