I would like to read Whispering Shadows by Jan Philipp Sandker is The first in a gripping suspenseful new trilogy by the internationally bestselling author of The Art of Hearing Heartbeats and was given away as part of World Book Night 2016. The story follows a retired American expat journalist Paul Leibovitz who was once an ambitious advisor, dedicated father, and loving husband. Sadly after living for nearly thirty years in Hong Kong, tragedy strikes when Paul and his ex-wife Meredith lose their eight-year-old son Justin to cancer. Their marriage disintegrates due mainly to Paul’s inability to move on with his life.
