Alien Day takes place annually on 26 April. It was created by a Sci-Fi subculture of people who wanted to honour the Alien film series. The first alien day took place in 2015. The Date 4/26 refers to the designation on the moon LV-426 where the Nostromo spaceship crew landed during Ridley Scott’s 1979 film Alien.
Alien concerns the crew of the space tug Nostromo who are returning to Earth. En route they encounter a distress signal emanating from a moon designated LV-426, so they decide to investigate. On LV 426 the crew discovers that the signal is coming from a crashed spaceship full of Alien eggs and jars containing a strange black goo. Suddenly one of the Alien eggs hatch and an aggressive parasitic alien life form hatches and attaches itself to the face of one of the crew members (a Facehugger) before burrowing inside him and eating him from the inside. Initially Warrant Officer Ellen Ripley refuses to let the wounded crew member on board the Nostromo, however she is over ruled by another crew member named Ash (Ian Holm). Then later the creature emerges as a miniature version of a vicious alien Xenomorph, with acid for blood. This grows rapidly, and goes on a killing spree killing the crew of the Nostromo one by one, until only Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) and Jonesy the cat are left….
Aliens
The second film Aliens features Warrant Officer Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) being rescued fifty seven years after escaping from the space freighter Nostromo. Ripley discovers from a representative of the company Wayland-Yutani, named Carter Burke (Paul Reiser), that LV 426 is now home to a group of colonists who are terraforming it to make it suitable for human habitation and have named the settlement Hadley’s Hope. Unfortunately they lost contact with the colonists. So Ripley joins a band of soldiers who journey to LV 426 to investigate. They discover the place apparently abandoned with evidence of a massive battle. upon further exploration they discover the grisly fate of all the colonists. And discover a massive nest of Xenomorphs led by a monstrous Queen Xenomorph. Hiding in the wreckage They discover a young girl named Newt and soon end up Fighting for their lives themselves, hoping to avoid the same grisly fate as the colonists.
Alien 3
The third film starts after the events of Aliens, an egg hatches aboard the Colonial Marine spaceship Sulaco, releasing a facehugger. A fire starts and the ship’s computer launches an escape pod containing Ellen Ripley, Newt, Hicks, and the damaged android Bishop; all four are in cryonic stasis. The pod crash-lands on Fiorina “Fury” 161, a foundry and maximum-security correctional facility inhabited by male inmates with a genetic predisposition for antisocial behavior.
Ripley meets Clemens, the prison’s chief medical officer and The prison warden, Harold Andrews. However Newt and Hicks do not survive. Ripley finds the damaged Bishop in the prison’s garbage dump and returns to the infirmary and re-activates Bishop, who, confirms that they had aFacehugger Alien on board with them to Fiorina. After growing to full size, the alien kills Murphy, Boggs, and Rains.
So Ripley suggests everyone work together to hunt down and kill the Xenomorph. However, the facility is without weapons; their only hope is the rescue ship being sent for Ripley by Weyland-Yutani. The Alien ambushes Ripley and Clemens in the prison infirmary. Ripley rushes to the cafeteria to warn the others. Meanwhile the warden himself is dragged into the vents and killed. Ripley comes up with a plan to destroy the. Xenomorph however this goes drastically wrong. Then Ripley discovers that Wayland Yutani has a sinister agenda which she has unwittingly become part of. Dillon, Ripley and the inmates attempt to kill the Alien by luring it into the foundry’s molding facility, trap it, and drowning it in molten lead . However The Weyland–Yutani team arrives, including commandos and a man identical to Bishop and make Ripley an offer, however Ripley takes matters into her own hands.
Alien Resurrection
The fourth film Alien Resurrection Is set two hundred years after the events of Alien 3, military scientists from Wayland Yutani aboard the space vessel USM Auriga create a clone of Ellen Ripley, designated Ripley 8, using DNA from blood samples taken from her during the previous film, combined with DNA of a Xenomorph queen. The scientists extract the embryo, raise it, and collect its eggs while keeping Ripley 8 alive for further study. As a result of The Xenomorphs’ DNA inside her, the clone Ripley has enhanced strength and reflexes, acidic blood, and a psychic link with the Xenomorphs.
Then A group of mercenaries consisting of Elgyn, Johner, Christie, Vriess, Hillard, and Call arrives at Auriga on their ship Betty and deliver several abducted humans in stasis. It transpires that The military scientists are using the humans as hosts for the aliens, raising a number of adult Xenomorphs for study. The Betty crew soon encounters Ripley 8. Soon after They discover that the Xenomorphs have also been cloned and have matured while being kept confined. However As a result of sharing DNA with Ripley the cloned Xenomorphs prove to be as clever as they are lethal and soon manage to escape confinement before capturing Dr. Jonathan Gediman damaging the Auriga and killing the majority of the remaining crew. Military scientist Dr. Wren reveals that the ship’s default command in an emergency is to return to Earth which could potentially unleash the Xenomorphs on Earth.
So Ripley 8, Elgyn, Johner, Christie, Vries, Hilllard, Call, Wren, DiStephano, and surviving Xenomorph host Purvis decide to head for the Betty and use it to destroy the Auriga while being chased by two Xenomorphs Unfortunately Hillard and Christie are killed. En-route, Ripley 8 discovers a laboratory containing the grotesque results of previous horrific experiments to combine humans and Xenomorphs. Unfortunately soon after Ripley 8 is captured by a Xenomorph, while the others head for the Betty and taken to the Alien Xenomorph nest where she encounters the Alien Queen…
